Sexual Assault

It is not your fault.

We are here to support you. You do not have to go through this alone.

What should you do?

Call 911 if you are in danger or if you want to make a report.

Reach out to us at the Converse Hope Center whether you are ready to report or not. An advocate is available 24 hours a day through our crisis line 307-358-4800. If dispatch answers ask for an advocate to call you back.

Go to the hospital as soon as possible. A SANE exam nurse will support you through a physical exam to document injuries and collect evidence. Getting an exam does not mean you are choosing to report. An exam allows the evidence to be collected and stored while you take as much time as you need to decide if you want to report to law enforcement.

Tips before an exam: Do not bathe, shower, change clothes, eat, drink, use mouthwash, or brush teeth and, if possible, do not use the bathroom.
